We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant / Junior Purchasing Agent for the headquarters of a Tech focused company located in Brooklyn.

The key responsibilities will be to purchase needed supplies and inventory, assist with greeting visitors and fielding incoming phone calls as well as some general office management duties.
 
The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, tactful, discreet, maintain a very friendly and upbeat demeanor and possess a very strong ability to multitask.There is much room for growth for an ambitious, industrious individual.
 
Requirements/Skills 
  • At least one year of experience ordering supplies / inventory from vendors
  • 1-2+ years of receptionist /administrative assistant experience.
  • ​​Telephone skills; good verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Professionalism and a customer focus
  • Organizational skills and an ability to handle pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound judgments on a day-to-day basis.
  • The discretion to keep proprietary company information confidential.  
  • Ability to follow complex written and verbal instruction.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain good communication with other staff members.
