Our client, a well-established, growing company is seeking a Level I-II Systems Support Engineer to complete their superb infrastructure support team. The candidate will be involved in the management of hundreds of workstations, servers, and networks (LANS/WANS) as well as assisting in the implementation of upgrades of the existing infrastructure. Solid knowledge of Microsoft and Windows technologies is required and a team-centric, “can do attitude” is essential.

The IT Support Engineer is primarily responsible for the support, administration, and maintenance of desktops, servers,  laptops, software, printers and associated peripherals. Duties of this position include the installation, configuration, and support of operating systems and applications; troubleshooting problems; participation in remote site administration; and production support activities. Highly motivated individual will work with the latest technologies in this arena.


Responsibilities:  
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues associated with desktops, servers,  laptops, printers, remote access and file shares.
  • Work with and learn from the Lead Tech in an environment with best practices.
  • Assist in upgrades, migrations, and asset inventory.
  • Follow IT workflow process
  • Use IT Support Request system to document, prioritize, and track requests.
  • Demonstrate great communication skills
  • Friendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal and presentation skills and ability to work well with others.

Technological Proficiencies:
  • 2 - 7 year’s experience in providing  IT Support.
  • Level I - II desktop support with Windows 7, 10, MS Office, Active Directory, and proprietary applications.
  • Expert in creating user accounts in Active Directory- creating distribution lists, global contacts in Exchange, etc.
  • Print server and network printers setup and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Windows Servers 2012 and up is a plus
  • Experience with Exchange 2010 / Office 365 Hosted by Microsoft is a plus

    Certifications:
  • A+ Required
  • MCSA or equivalent Microsoft Certification a plus.
